Experience, the working together of Tourims and The Creative Industry - Isafjordur 2011
The Icelandic Tourist Board, is launching a 2 day conference on 5-6th October in Isafjörður entitled, "Experience, the working together of Tourims and The Creative Industry".
The work of Vatnavinir is one of three nominated for the award. Vatnavinir´s projects will be presented at the Conference, with the following vote to determine the winner.

Cité de l´Architecture Paris - Locus Foundation
"Global Award for Sustainable Architecture" Award Ceremony at Cité de l´Architecture in Paris. Sigrun, Jörn and Olga went to Paris to lecture about the ideology and philisophy of Vatnavinir and receive the Award.

MANMADE ENVIRONMENT - Oslo 2010
Vatnavinir are among the contributors of major nordic landscape architecture exhibition, MANMADE ENVIRONMENT. After opening in Norway during the Oslo Architecture Triennale on September 23rd the exhibition will continue on to Copenhagen and the other Nordic countries in 2011 and 2012.

EDEN - Aquatic Tourism Destination of Excellence 2010
As winners of the national contest, our project Vatnavinir Westfjords will be representing Iceland at the EDEN awards this year. The exhibition and award ceremony will be held in Brussels on the 27th and 28th of September 2010.
